    About

I’m Cathy—a solo traveler, photographer, storyteller, and full-time RVer exploring the country in my motorhome, Gypsy Louise.

I spent most of my life following the traditional version of the “American Dream,” until losing my sister in my late 50s gave me the wake-up call I needed. I stopped waiting for “someday,” gave life on the road a try, and haven’t really looked back since.

These days, “home” is wherever I park for the night. Sometimes that’s beside a lake with a perfect sunset. Sometimes it’s a spot I found 10 minutes before dark and thought, *yeah… this will do.* Somehow, both have a way of working out.

travel full-time chasing slow mornings, good views, scenic roads, waterfalls, national and state parks, small towns, quiet campgrounds, and the unexpected stops that often become the best part of the trip. Photography is a big part of how I experience it all, capturing the landscapes, wildlife, sunsets, and little moments I want to remember.

Along the way, I share favorite destinations, practical lessons, unexpected detours, and the realities of living on the road.

And if you’re here without an RV—good. You’re exactly who this is for too.

Come hang out. Follow along. Let’s see where the road takes me next.
